    Rumour mill

You know it's January when the rumours of potential signings come thick and fast. It's the 1st January, 2015, and Millwall have been linked with many-a-player already:

So, we have signed Paris Cowan-Hall from Wycombe. Many Wycombe fans have said many good things about him and how he has a high workrate.

    Other rumours:

Supposedly we have now been linked with...

Rudolph Austin from Leeds. He is out of contract either this summer or the next and Leeds are willing to let him go if they get in a target of their own.

Eoin Doyle from Chesterfield. The in-form striker has bagged numerous goals this season. The club have placed a value closer to £2m on the key striker. You can only feel that's us ruled out already.

Return of the Hoff from SC Wiener Neustadt. Maierhofer has reportedly been requesting a move back to us through an agent. Supposedly we could sign him on a short-term deal and for vastly reduced wages - would you take him back? I am sure we all have o

Thanks Claw, it was a random posting as within 20 minutes I had seen us linked with numerous players.

We definitely need a striker, although I fear like most windows we'll end up with Maierhoffer signed as a lone striker :/

I'm guessing with Bent going to Derby on loan that gave them more leadway to get Halford back in?

I wouldn't have had any issues with Halford myself; think he is decent at this level and he can launch a football from a throw-in (I know that's a needle in a haystack ability for a footballer) but could have come in handy in last moments of certain matches?

Yet another player linked - Dan Harding from Forest.

I am sure many have heard of Dan Harding as he has been a decent left back within the Championship for numerous years. That being said, Forest seem very keen to remove him from their squad and he is 31 y/o.

Granted, all links with him is an apparent loan deal so could be good to fill the void if Malone leaves until the end of the season? - view external link

I agree with you Zampa, Hanson wasn't at a standard of which I feel we need. He is a sturdy bloke but I feel even Maierhoffer would offer a better all-round game than Hanson.

So we have Dan Harding from Forest until the end of the season.

A good addition I believe as we have to tighten up at the back.

Harding signs on for the Lions today on loan until the end of the season oh which his contract then expires with Nottingham Forest. An experienced left-back to replace Malone for the forthcoming months
