I was thinking the other day, who could we get in if the worst was to happen and McClaren left, here is my short list:

Stimac - always said he wants to manage DCFC
Atkins - record is ok apart from a bad patch with Reading, would keep the same stile of football
Simpson - a good nr 2 but not really a nr 1
Round / Barker - a new combination SR says he wants a top job next.
Hoddle - could he really risk it with him.
We could always try and tempt another teams manager, Lambert at Villa would be a shout.
