Not sure if 70.2% was the known figure when I heard the radio this morning but the estimate was that the team finishing last would earn more than the winners of just a few years ago.
Messi for Palace? Ronaldo to West Brom?![]()

Very nice if you are in the Premier League but will probably create even a bigger gap to the football league clubs. Overall I am not sure I am in favour. Even the Premier League is about 3 leagues within a league. Unfortunately gone are the days when for instance Derby or Nottingham Forest, provincial clubs, could finish top. Progress ... hmm!
SSN were saying that there was a 70% increase from the last deal.
I hope that means a 70% increase in the money they pay our club though I bet not.
It also says that each team will be shown live at least 4 times in a season.
With the proposed TV money eclipsing matchday revenue even more than it does under the current deal, there'll be far less incentive for clubs to consider expansion.Originally Posted by Pentridge
Friday night games coming too. Bad news for those that don't attend weekday matches![]()

Fair comment Papa, and unfortunately one i'm inclined to agree with.
Although I hope the club would give the opportunity to more supporters who want to watch us at home.
Time will tell.
