    BBC Article

Interesting article by Mark Wilson on the BBC website. Apparently several of our players were surprised at our recent signings. Undermining the manager or what! - view external link

The opinion of the players would carry considerably more weight if they'd won more than three games out of 20 or so before Baraclough came in.

Spot on. If they had shown that they had a bit of bottle we wouldn't needed to sign anyone. If true they should keep quiet.

Yep - McManus is the culprit IMO. Why he's allowed to play is anyone's guess - should be gotten to fork soon as !!

I read the article, and for the life of me I cannot see why 'WELL fans are upset with it, I didn't see anything that undermines the manager, it's nothing different from what has been called for on this board for a long time. I also don't understand the get rid of McManus call, he has played with several defensive partners this season with a poor midfield in front of him, he has put in a good few goal saving tackles and blocked a fair amount of shots, significantly his OG tally is also down. I would suggest that all the anger being expressed should be channeled to support the team rather than slaughter them, maybe then we will start to see the "ship turning".

I agree no idea why McManus gets all the blame yes he has been howling wont deny that but the abuse he gets on here is over the top as no worse than reid,obrien,kerr.law.ainsworth,lasley.carswell, in fact the lot of them .He is also being accused of all sorts with regards to personal problems and once again based on rumour he had a personal issue at beg of season and trust me it was a terrible time for him but as family related wont go into detail but was a very sad time for him so would prefer if people stuck to football related opinions instead of accusing the man of everything under the sun as seems to be happening on both fan sites at moment

In football terms, and only football terms McManus has been rotten since he arrived. He got away with last season because he had Hammell and Hutchy who were better than we have now.
Why does he get it so tight, probably because he is such an experienced guy, who has played in arguably the world's top club competition, as well as playing big games for Scotland. If we look at the games from start of January in my opinion he can take the blame directly for 2 against Accies, at least 1 away to united when the wee guy out muscled him at back stick, 2 against Celtic, 1 against Dundee, 2 up at Dingwall. The only match we have gained a point was against St Johnstone, he didn't play.
Guys like Kerr/obrian are starting out and should be able to rely on McManus, he frequently lambasts them for his errors, Accies on new years day was disgraceful the way he blamed all around.
He will easily be a high earner who is not doing nearly enough for his doh. I Couldn't give a mooses diddy about the big gu
