Not a Gooner to be seen

Pitched up at my golf club this morning, fair enough it was raining and we were unlikely to play, but there is always a crowd (including several Arsenal fans) who normally have a drink and a chat. Last week they were full of it, how the Monaco game was a given, how they were going to the away leg and who they might get in the next round. They were also quite patronising to little old Saints, suggesting that we were punching above our weight and it might be a bad thing if we were to qualify for Europe.
Not one of then showed up today and I know they had tickets for the match last night. When our paths cross, I shan't say much but they will get the look, and a smile, and they will know.

Had a long wait to get a table at the snooker last night. So long we watched most of that game while we were waiting. Clearly the exits work well at Arsenal. I've never seen a ground clear so quickly, the end of the game look like it was played in front of friends and family.

    What you talking abut Charlie?

4th in the Prem, knocked out last 16 in Champions League? That's the kind of form that guarantees Wenger another contract!!

No, I don't get it either.

Thing is, Ar$enal could well turn it on and win over there. They're about as consistent as paint.
