    Following A Face Book Conversation

...With a respected AVFC poster, he asked if I would copy a facebook comment I made to their board. I felt it right to share it here too-
Journey well my friends-it's a sometimes dangerous place...

"I watch a fair amount of live football, it's a great break from the working day/week and for 90 or so mins nothing else matters. It's a social event at which I'm regularly joined by one of my kids and it's always good to see some familiar faces.
Then there's this. In seconds another person's life will never be the same: whereas at the time of writing the true extent of the injuries are uncertain we can be sure that for Nick Cruwys the change will be dramatic and life changing. In the few seconds it took to identify, pursue. trip and kick this man to unconsciousness, his life and the lives of his family and friends changed forever. He must have been terrified because he would have been aware as the kicks piled in, that he was in an awful situation. He would have known in those split seconds

The fact that this is still happening is unbelievable. Why do people feel the need to harm complete strangers?
Here's hoping Nick makes a full recovery.
