Thread: Holloway finally sacked...

    Holloway finally sacked...

and chopper takes over until the end of the season.

    So what next??

Can't see chopper getting the job permanently. It would be a big hit with us emotionally but we really need a proper manager.

I'd like to see Paul Clement given the job. He's s very good coach.

Sh1t!!!!!!!!!! Bad time to sack a manger when Danny Wilson is out of work as you don't want him in charge

Sorry to see him go but the writing was on the wall (no pun)

I thought his post match interview last Saturday said to me that Ollie knew his days were numbered

Gutted Gutted Gutted that he didn't make it at yours

Holloway hid away in the dugout at Rotherham, he must have only been in his technical area four/five times maximum but to follow that on at home is ridiculous from a manager.

It's a weird time to sack him but also better than at the end of the season, this way Berylson and Ambler can search for his replacement through the final two months or so of the season. I've seen so many people mention Warburton but realistically would he come? I doubt it, personally.

I like that Bomber's in charge for the remainder of the season as the crowd will feed off him in the dugout - but the season is long enough. What happens if Neil got it full-time and started to lose week-in-and-out, even the most supportive fan would begin to turn against a club legend - we don't want that situation. Then again, he may also push us on? Do you risk it?

Bomber has nothing to lose until the end of the season. If (when) we go down he will not be held responsible. If we stay up he will become the new mesiah, but at the end of the season get somebody else to take over. If Bomber continues and it goes arse upwards he will get just as much stick as Ollie...and no-one wants to see that.

Its a shame things never worked out for holloway but recent results left the club with no option. Moving forward someone like clement would be great but I doubt he would take the job. Brian McDermott and uwe rosler would be good but also doubtful if they would want to take the job either. Anyway goodluck to neil harris for the rest of the season, lets hope he can get us playing with a bit of pride so we can a least go down fighting.
