Maybe you could explain in layman's terms, for those of us who don't actually dabble in shares, what that actually means and how we stand to make or lose money? And if it's so obvious why everyone on this planet aren't doing it.
Thanks.
I have shorted Afren down and closed at a good profit as some will know by now.
I have now had time to digest the complicated RNS released on Friday and read some very expert opinion re it's meaning.
I was concerned on Friday re the price holding at 4.6 ish when it should have bombed out of sight .I thought I may have been missing something but I'm not.
I was correct with my under 2p prediction and I am now more certain than ever that this share is still a raging short even at 4.65 p
It may even go sub 1p..The numbers are small but remember 4.6 to 2.3 is 50 per cent!
I will open another short on Monday as I'm now clear that this price is still supported by fools who don't understand the recent announcement.
Just follow it out of interest and you will see that although there may be upward swings, this price will certainly fall below 2p and likely 1p.
I'm going to short and close below 2p...over 50 per cent profit maybe within a couple of weeks!
It seems so obvious, it scares m

The losing money bit is relatively easy.Originally Posted by CAMiller

Yes it does sound all gobbledygook...probably copied and pasted off some site or other...not saying Kempo doesn't dabble but not as much as what he makes out tbh...Originally Posted by CAMiller

To sell a share means bet so much that it's price will fall so bet £10 a point and the share falls by 10points makes you £100 or loses you £100 if it rises.
You don't actually own the shares but a market is formed by a financial bookmaker but they pretend not to be bookies.
This particular company is in very serious financial trouble and many investors don't understand that even though the information is out there..some of us do understand it.
This particular company has just undergone a complex refinancing which many investors don't understand but some of us do.
The company is in such trouble financially that the refinancing only kicks the can a bit further down the road.
The strange thing with this share is that the company have actually announced publically that shareholders will be virtually wiped out but many investors don't understand this and continue to buy..it just shows how many people are certifiable..they should not be allowed near a share.
Of course this give
Just google "afren shares" to get the duscussions about this topic

I wouldnt bother Brin, most of the easy money went months ago.Stick your money on Derbyshire to score anytime on Wednesday, against his old club.
This is a good example of some people understanding and some not...I repeat 4.6 to 2.3 would be a massive profit..Originally Posted by shshsh22
