    The Run In

Walsall’s 5-0 thrashing of Crawley on Tuesday night has probably made them safe on 54pts so it now looks like any one from 16th place down to occupy the remaining three relegation places.
Looking from the bottom up here are my thoughts. And let’s hope 53pts will be enough.

    24th Yeovil Relegated

    23rd Colchester PLD 42 PTS 44

    H S****horpe
    A Fleetwood
    H Swindon
    H Preston

On paper its fair to say I can’t see them getting anything from the last two games, but that may depend on Preston securing promotion beforehand they may well rest players if they have to settle for a playoff place, and Swindon on 41 games still have an outside chance of automatic promotion. Fleetwood have nothing to play for so possibly they could pick up points there, S****horpe this Saturday is a huge game for them, a defeat and other results go against them could see them 6pts from safety and would also mean S****horpe safe.

    22nd Crawley PLD 43 PTS 47

    H Nott’s County
    A Peterborough
    H Coventry

    Three winnable

I think Colchester, County and Orient. Vale could quite easily go down as their form is terrible and has been for weeks now. Our form is okay, it is not exactly play off form but it is good enough to stay up. For one of the first times this season I think we will stay up.

Colchester are essentially down, I would be amazed if they stayed up.

County have a huge game against Crawley, but I do think they may struggle to get many points as their form is also pretty bad.

And Orient just have to many tough games.

I've done my predictions for all of the teams too, and I agree with the above - Yeovil, Colchester, Notts and Orient.

Think we'll survive by beating Bradford whilst Orient draw their last game.

Having seen Orient last week, I really can't see them going down. Look too good.

I used the prediction thing on Grimsbys fishy website, had us down on GD

    Orients run looks tough though.

For me it's as it stands, Notts C, Crawley, Colchester and yeovil.

Gerald, out of interest how many points did it predict for us. I think 52 points will be enough for teams to stay up, all apart from us.

We'll achieve 52 but i too think goal difference will finally be a factor and therefore i can only see us surviving with 2 wins or 1 win and 2 draws and i can't see it happening.

Another disappointing result on Saturday, really need Preston and Rochdale to do us a favour tomorrow night as they take on Nott's County and Leyton Orient. :-S

I believe 52 points will be enough. I.e One win.

I would rather see that come at Coventry on Saturday!!!
