He has resigned from his job at Watford, rumours of player unrest. Let's hope Kenny Jackett doesn't get touted for the job. - view external link

I think Kenny would love to manage Watford again someday. But I also think he knows that if he can get Wolves in the Premier League, that opportunity will be available to him whenever he wants it, most likely. He's got a squad of "his" players at Wolves right now and one that has at least an equal chance of achieving promotion as Watford. I think he will receive a call, but I don't think we have much to worry about IMO.

I see Watford again going down the continental route, Jackett, as you say will no doubt get linked, but i don't see him leaving Wolves, but you can never say never.
Sorry... looks as though the above picture failed (due to a blizzard/white out).
The old guns on here can guess what it was of![]()
Blast from the past Tony! I haven't been on the Watford board for years.Originally Posted by tony

Everything about Kenny Jacket oozes class, from the way he has reorganised the playing set up at this club and explaining his decisions to the fans to his straight talking interviews with the press.
The thing I respect him for most though is I believe he's an honourable man. Yes he wanted this job because of its size, facilities and historical standing but I believe he has set goals here and won't leave, of his own accord, until he has reached them.
Watford, as suggested, have gone down the continental route again, and appointed ex Brighton man, Oscar Garcia as their new manager.
He did well last season with Brighton and reached the play-offs. A good appointment.
