Thread: Happy Days

    Happy Days

Well, a week has gone by and I am still soaking up the events that happened during the two legs and the events afterwards. I never made it up in the end, as the costs and trying to obtain a ticket were problematic, so ended up watching in a pub in Dorset with a guy I know who used to live in Glasgow (Celtic fan). We were also joined by a few locals with a very jovial atmosphere and no bile to listen to. Happy days.

I am still feeling chuffed that we managed to stay in the Premier League and to do it with style. To loosely quote some of the comments by Lee Erwin and commentators, “We battered them”! “We were a class above in both legs”. “Rangers have been pulverised by Motherwell”. Words that were said, that look just as good written down.

I know I said in a previous thread that we would blow away anything the championship had to offer, this was what I wished for topped a significant amount of bravado. I also worried that we were playing a team with Rangers strips and the establishmen

Thanks for that contribution. I hope you'll be able to visit Fir Park to see us finish in a higher place than 11th. The relegation struggle was tense and exciting but mid-table mediocrity will do nicely for the next few seasons.

No one has mentioned the Rangers games for a couple of days , so I thought I would bring it it up again .

Can anyone tell me when the last time we had back to back wins against "Them"

I think Twist and Shout was going the rounds when we last beat them in back to back games
