First time I've seen the Spurs player, Grant Ward, & he did look promising & scored a stunning goal.

At 19 he's still time to develop but he looked fine. Stocksbridge were an honest but basic Division One Unibond League side so it's hard to judge the lad. If he's still around for the Partick Thistle & Leicester City games it'll be a better test for him.

On balance, at this point, I'd take a punt on him.

Maybe though, if I were his agent, looking at the number of promising players signed but allowed to drift without a proper run(eg Conor Newton) or leave (eg Milsom), I'm not sure if I'd advise a move to us. I guess it'll depend on:

1) how much Steve Evans & his team rate him and are prepared to pay; and
2) what other offers the lad gets.

Was told Saturday night by someone who went, that somebody shouted to Evans to get him signed up, Evans replied that he'd signed yesterday, 6 months loan deal.

Not released to the press yet so is it true??
