    Well another gone,anymore worth flogging.Think all the trialists and signings in advance of players leaving was a `softener` for the fans because `they` knew what was coming.Forget friendlies and results and hope it works out with what players they have signed or they will be up the creek before you know it.

    I've a couple of things to say on this subject. Firstly Dempsey was the best prospect the club has had in years, the best since Jansen in my opinion. I know some don't share that view, but there you go. Secondly I believe it would have been very wrong of the club to stand in the way of the lad's future development. I believe he can play a decent number of championship games this season. Lastly I really hate undisclosed transfers, because they lead to all kinds of speculation, I really wish they'd just come out and tell us how much we got.

    I really hope Dempsey does really well, and Potts as well. It shows we are capable of bringing through good youngsters, and it will also show some big clubs we'll do the right things with their young prospects if they're loaned to us.
