    Great Goalkeepers

In my time of following Rovers
    Roger Jones
    Paul Bradshaw
    Terry Gennoe
    Jim Arnold
    Bobby Mimms
    Tim Flowers
    Brad Friedel
    Paul Robinson
Maybe I`ve missed someone , but my favourite is Friedel .

Fred Else was one of the best uncapped keepers. At his time England had Bonetti, Spingett, Hodgkinson, Waiters, Hopkinson, Banks coming thru. Many of them one got 1 or 2 caps but there were so many to pick from. Oh, forgot Gordon West.

I never thought I would read a list of Great goalkeepers with Bobby Mimms and Paul Robinson in there. Each to their own I suppose.

Can't argue with those Needs. Big Brad is the best I've seen for me. Terry Gennoe also has a place as he's the first I really took notice of. Oh and Jones because he was the first I saw.

I started watching Blackburn in the early sixties, and on looking back over 50 years,Id say Brad Friedel was the best goalie of the lot. Gottta give a lot of credit to Graeme Souness for signing Brad from Liverpool on a free,he was pretty quick off the mark on that one,as he was on signing a certain Tugay Kerrimoglu, from Glasgow Rangers.
