    new target?????

Sunderland’s young guns Duncan Watmore and Tom Beadling are in demand after fellow prospect Jordan Pickford headed out on loan.

Watmore was crowned Under-21 Premier League Player of the Season last year, yet still hasn’t made his top flight debut for the Black Cats, while he was used sparingly during the pre-season friendlies.

League One pair Oldham and S****horpe are both interested in taking Watmore on loan.

I'd love to see Duncan Watmore join the party. Reported as a real talent with a great future, he would be a real boost to our promotion ambitions. Can play on the wing or up front and scored plenty of goals last season at Under-21 level. Also had a loan spell with Hibs.

Better known as a winger, would struggle to get a game while we continue to use the 5 - 3 - 2 system, and we have enough options up front. Could be an option from the bench if Robins wants to switch to 4 - 4 - 2, with Hakeeb on the right and him on the left, if indeed he is left sided.

He is also a Manc, so might prefer Oldham, time will tell...
