    Venkys gratuitous accolade

If ever there was a case of can't do right for doing wrong, here's another one.
Re: Venkys acknowledgment of Jack Walkers legacy.
I note that the comments has been removed, and I heavily suspect why. Having seen the first dozen or so, it was heavily in favour of 'how dare they'.
So I suspect it was becoming a little more abusive, so all in all probably the right thing to do (given the seeming 'intellect' of many of the posters on there).
I can myself see both sides to this i.e. if they say nothing its disrespect, on the other hand they have acknowledged, and so the abuse ensues.
They are themselves responsible, regardless of naivety, of destroying the very legacy they are applauding.

So they would seem to be between a rock and a hard place. But only themselves to blame.

In GB they (have to) trust.

Yes,running a top football club considerably harder than a big business........as Venkys have found.

And"top football club"we were when they arrived....they cant possibly have forseen what was to happen

But such incredible naievety is hard to equate with super-rich people, which we are lead to believe they are.

It has been said, they cant abandon the venture as to do so would show a huge loss of face in their native India.
Maybe thats all to the good for us,as Robbie Savage has said "who else will foot the bills" claiming Venkys are positive for Blackburn. I really hope he is right on that one. .

It is a tough one. All they really had to do was come in, say little, write a few checks and keep the people at the club sweet and they would be sitting on a decent advertising platform. But it's a mess of their own making, only right they should pay for it. Problem is, they are in one way and are not in another, (i.e. the borrowing is against the club with them as guarantors in case of default). As for speaking out, yes on that one, they are damned if they do and damned if they don't. But pure and simple, they have ripped the heart and soul from the club and need to get a decent board in to make proper decisions if they want to be good to their word. end of rant

Really find it pathetic how much Derek Shaw gets blamed for everything on brfcc.

Derek Shaw is but one man, he is not a board of directors, and he screwed up a winning streak with a decent, almost settled team by buggering it all up and sticking in Cr@pleton. He blew the chance to compete when hopes were highest. That said, if Cr@pleton had not messed about with the winning team he inherited, Shaw would be a mastermind. Funny how things work out.

Shaw is pretty useless and along with his now sacked buddy Agnew it was to say the least a shambles
oh I didn't press the button on the fax machine in time
However only 2 people deserve every bit of spite and hatred
Kean and Anderson those 2 really prayed on the clueless and stupid and destroyed the very stable platform on which Jack built
so in hindsight maybe they shouldn't of said a thing as they have effectively sent this club on the verge of pre Jack walker
their letter to quite a few is salt in still open wounds.

    re: Venkys gratuitous accolade

Ever since they started 'meddling with the structure' of this club, of which they had no understanding, the alarm bell warnings were rung loud and clear by the vast majority.
Yet they determined to ignore all, and do it their way regardless. Aided and abetted by their trusty advisors.
Yes, they are now hanging on and seemingly funding the club albeit on a loan basis, this though against the backdrop of serious 'negative equity'.
Now it is up to the individual to view whether this is because of 'love' for the club (and its populace supporter) or pure stubborn pride. I know which my money is on.
It is pure stubborn pride that caused this, and so if it is this same trait that is governing their current strategy it is anybody's guess as to the wisdom in this. And should they really be expecting to be applauded ???
