    re: Charged over play-off

Yep. Said at the time our youngsters were totally out of order. Several announcements over the PA system pleading that there should not be a pitch invasion at full time were ignored. Police horses on Fir Park for God's sake!.Had the opposition supporters in the west stand, who were taunted after the game, reacted differently it could have been really ugly.

The club did try to pre-empt it with the announcements and the stewards present might just as well not have been there as the youngsters ran past them totally unchallenged. I hope this is all considered as the matter is dealt with.

Totally agree with previous post we don't need this at the club and the punishment will hurt the club and will not effect those who took part directly. We will have to learn that the authorities will not tolerate such behaviour and we don't want to go down the road where we end up with a real heavy fine, deducted points or worse forced to play home games behind closed doors or a combination of all three.

Most Rangers fans in the South Stand behaved responsibly but a few did not and reacted by throwing a few seats and other missiles onto the pitch. Any word of the flare throwing incident?

Alas the biggest issue through all of this is Motherwell spoiled Rangers Coronation and the SFA/SPFL made some bizarre statements 'mounted police required to restore order, a tad over the top in what actually occurs Disgraceful scenes fans invading the pitch - really?? Seems that fans elsewhere mus be much better behaved.

No mention of the scenes at the youth cup finals between Celtic and Rangers, the continued sectarian singing by old firm fans the no standing rule which of course does not apply to the old firm.
Yes some fans did a stupid thing in taunting the opposition fans, but as Flo pointed out we had more police at the game than for a Celtic Game. What role did the 'match commander' have In planning for this eventuality?? Flo seemed to suspect at leas a pitch invasion might occur.

Alas I suspect the consequences to be severe on the club perhaps including points deduction and significant fine.
I feel it bodes ill for the Well, the media and beuracracy of Scottish footb

Two months later the brains behind our game come up with this *********tte!honestly should have be sorted out ages ago but let's see start of season let's send the signal out total joke.

Hate to say it but a slap on the wrist is enough we have be pretty well behaved beforehand so any more than this is a total farce..these aholes in charge make things up by the day I swear to make themselves feel important.

The club have little choice but to accept whatever punishment we are given but it is not their fault! It's the fault of the stupid minority who seem to think they can do what they like and to hell with everyone else. The club could be severely punished for the behaviour of those who showed no sense of responsibility, knowing that no good could come of their actions. Reading have just been fined £100,000 for a pitch invasion. I shudder to think what could happen to us. Those who went on to the pitch should be deeply ashamed, but I don't think they have that level of maturity.

I think we should wait before blindly accepting any punishment. Other clubs who shall remainless have gotten off scot free for years because they were deemed to be doing all they could (cough cough). Also if the punishment is totally out of line with the actual incident we should have a right to appeal. Will the behaviour of Rangers fans be examined?

There is NO defense, these nuggets that claim to support the club have put us in this position. However I did not see any violence all they did was run onto the park and "PROVOKE" the poor we sevco fans, I honestly cannot remember the last time a sevco fan provoked me!.Horses were needed to clear the (rampaging crowd) "wee laddies celebrating" I don't think so, they were all on their way back to the East Stand when the horses appeared!
