I'm afraid so.
Peterbro' sussed it.
I reckon Evo has just about cottoned on to it as well.
as much as I've adored this lad's efforts that saw him involved in us gain two promotions and retain our Championship status…I feel this season may be one too many in the Championship….
On his day he can offer a lot but since his injury time out last season he doesn't seem the same player…yes we've only played 5 I know that but he's lost his sparkle and shine and maybe he is one to be freed this season….am I wrong?

I wouldn't be getting rid if we are looking like getting relegated, would still be a great player for league 1 level.
We can't carry dead wood until next season…that's a wasted wage...
Add Paul Green to the list aswell, Frecks has been excellent for us but afraid the championship is a step too far, think both are league 1 at best. U.T.F.M.
nope. still been our best attacking central midfielder this season.. get better in then maybe.
Others reading the OP and the replies may think we're playing Manager but we are only pointing out the obvious….
so far we have had frecks, smallwood, bowery. ward, ward, maguire, ledesma, green, and newell. all play in midfield.
from that list only smallwood and newell have performed better than frecks... since we usually play at least 4 across the middle im guessing he still has a starting spot
I posted last season that Frecklington had long term injuries but was shouted down. He obviously has an issue that reoccurs if he plays a full competitive game. Boot hanging up time is near.
Green though is another issue maybe he has a niggling injury but the lad seems to lack stamina compared to last season.
green is 32 m8. for a smart midfielder they can just about manage into 32/33 green relays on stamina and hard work to get him through games. even if he dropped down a league he would still not be a stand out player. fair doooz though. he always give everything
