What we want is a leader
Tommorow deadline day who do we want or need.
For me it's clear we need improving don't think we will get everyone we need in every position so
A striker and a combative midfielder would improve us.
Funny still think we need a better keeper but that's not gonna happen
What we want is a leader
L B
Attacking midfielder like Vuckic
it doesnt matter evans will play them out of position or not at all, if they play 1 game and don't look like messi then they will be cast aside
We need someone to lift the team and the fans, someone we can relate too. Someone who shows the club has some ambition to stay in this league. I know it's a tuff ask. Steve needs to pull a rabbit of of the hat. He's done it in the past. In Evans we trust. UTM.
Bit greedy but 3 players for me, another defensive midfielder in Sam Morsy (Chesterfield), an attacking midfielder who can play anywhere across midfield and just behind striker in Danny Mayor (Bury), and a goal scorer to replace Derbyshire in Tom Bradshaw (Walsall), if not then put Maguire up top.
Send Roos back, need another keeper. Get Wootton to play Centre back with Rawson. Lafferty for Left back prob' on loan. Sam Morsy for midfield. Right winger needed we haven't got one. Our strikers will score goals that's not the priority.
Good call millers88 & gwru.
Wooton has only played 3 games for Leeds he could be out injured or he could be bench warming.
Lafferty, same again not played this season, he could be injured or bench warming.
If you don't ask you don't get.
The problem will be convincing any players to come to a team that is struggling at the wrong end of the Championship.
Don't see Bradshaw coming, Sam Morsy.... other clubs are interested in him.
I don't get why people always say wooten. he is always deployed at right back for leeds and rotherham but their seems to be an impression that he is an amazing centre back. to me he's just a right back and not a very good one
we desperately need a midfielder who shows for the ball like fulham had with O'hara. we need to balance up the side with a right sided midfielder and I'd say we still need a right back as Buxton plays like he's got bricks for feet. Rawson and Wood centre back and get Bowery up front with Clarke-Harris. They look like they're very pally with each other, Derbyshire is the worst finisher we've arguably ever had and at least there's a chance to aid Bowery's development. So long as the ball isn't consistently hoofed up to him as that is clearly not his game
gwru you keep saying send Roos back but as we've got him on a season-long loan I think that contractually we'll have to keep him for at least half that time.
I agree we need a quality goalkeeper though and would also like to see an aggressive box to box midfielder plus a decent striker.
I won't be holding my breath though because the club usually does very little on transfer deadline day. Also, players of any quality are likely to receive more attractive offers than we are prepared to make.
