You see when fans make simple, clear well thought out comments and observations you can get through. I would like to say well done Mr Evans for acting quickly, listening and admitting you got it wrong. That takes a lot to do and I hope the bravery gets its rewards, just drop Derbyshire give the lad a chance to refocus

I see it that he has done his job and very well AGAIN, he has took advice from professionals, brought in the players, put them together, watched them, reviewed performances, analysed the games, picked up where things aren't working and made changes.
I very much doubt it is because of fans comments and more down to him making sure he gave the players a reasonable chance to prove themselves without risking the season. Most of what was said on here I'm sure the management team were saying to themselves, after all, that is what they are paid to do, the changes came about from what they have seen not from what is being said.

I'm not saying he doesn't check in on this board or indeed read the comments, I'm saying the likelihood is that he drew the same conclusions as all on here because if it is plain to see it is plain to see.

It would be difficult to have faith inn him if he wasn't able to make these decisions without outside help, but granted having it confirmed by the masses does help to confirm your thoughts

No doubt in my mind, Steve Evans saw the discontent in us the Millers fans, we as a forum speaking from the heart about the mess he made himself by, playing players out of position, giving the captains job to Halford, who had not proved he was a leader to get his players motivated.

Steve Evans now as to prove to the fans he can coach our team to better things, on the upside he as given the captaincy to Frecklington, a seasoned pro who as fought in the trenches for our team, to get us where we are in the Championship.
Now onwards & upwards, lets hear the battle cry. !

Surely It's not a coincidence that these changes have been made, I'm sure he has had his eyes opened by a few comments or even certain people talking to him and has made a few changes that he saw fit.

I wouldn't expect any manager to do what fans say but listen and make their mind up if it's working or not then it's up to them what to do if anything.

In this case it looks like Evans listened and did something about it , well done

I find it hard to believe and apparently harder to explain but why is it so unbelievable to accept that a football manager would draw the same conclusions based on his own experience instead of cos fans have moaned, why can't these things happen in parallel to peoples thoughts.

The way I see it is fans make comments, whilst at the same time the manager is seeing the same thing but then the fans quickly lose patience whist at the same time the manager is using his experience to know that he needs to hang in there a little longer. He then sees it hasn't worked and changes things but by this time fans have moved on to anger so the changes must have come to please us.
