    Preston v Wolves Matchday Thread.

After Fulham's 4-0 drubbing of QPR last night, we really need to start making a positive impact or risk getting left behind with the relegation contenders. Let's hope Kevin McDonald and Danny Batth can return to inspire the team to victory.

An early start for me, a trip to Blackpool first and then the game at Preston. Hopefully with the news of new deals for the likes of Doherty, Henry and McDonald, Wolves season will now kick in.

Wolves twitter in link below is one way of following the game. There's also the radio link provided by baggins. - view external link

It will be interesting to see which starting line-up Kenny Jackett goes with. Does he bring back Danny Batth? early reports suggests Batth may indeed play some part of the game. The goalkeeping situation, I'm expecting Jackett to revert back to Martinez after ikeme's inclusion in the cup game with Middlesbrough.

In midfield, and especially in the central midfield area he has to cope without the suspended Coady and injured Dave Edwards. I think he will go with a McDonald/Price combination. James Henry should be a likely starter, and the forward line should be the same. Up to you Kenny Jackett to put together a side capable of winning this game.

Back to 4-2-3-1. And Batth is back. I think this is my preferred lineup, but not sure on VLP starting. We have options on the bench as well.

Surprised to see VLP in there but we'll see. Hope Danny's really fit coz there's going to be a lot of pressure on him, especially as he's already lost a percentage of Wolves fans

    Preston 1 Wolves 0

10' Daniel Johnson finds room for a strike on the edge of the Wolves box, his accurate left-footed effort finds the far corner of the net.
