No matter wether we do double or treble training sessions every day next week it won't make one bit of difference if we continue to defend so deep in our own half and allow average teams to dictate and control games. Many managers state if you don't lose a goal you can't lose a game, but the opposite also applies don't score goals and you can't win games which in my opinion is what football is all about winning.Yesterday we had the worse stats in the whole 4 divisions in Scotland for attempts at goal 2 and on target 1 it says it all about our current situation.Thistle and Killie are beginning to get things sorted and are starting to win games,Dundee United have won one game all season the one against us and have still managed to score more goals than us! We have to get a settled 11 on the pitch playing in their right positions who are willing to work their butts off for each other irrespective of who loses out in being selected.Too many of our players seem to think they will get a game

Agreed that without an improvement on the shots on goal we will not accumulate many points. Initially it seemed when Barraclough took over our shots on goal increase significantly even though the results were still negative in nature. This season mirrors most of last season, poor defending and very few shots on goal. McGhee has intimated that there will be increased training sessions, though I remain a bit sceptical that will produce short term remedies, long term maybe. Our record thus far this season is abysmal I am somewhat optimistic that McGhee can turn it around I just hope that's soon!
