    Jim Gannon

We all remember one of our many former managers.
He's now at Northwich Victoria in the Evo Stick Northern Premier League Div 1 North.
That'll be 8 rungs below the football league. Bit of a change from leading the 'Well into Europe.
    Didn't he do well?

Had a decent eye for a player but was never a manager as his massive, inflated ego would always get in the way.

When you hear some of the stories involving him over the years about how various players and staff at numerous different clubs hated the ground he walked on added to the fact that any side he's ever been involved in bar Stockport (I think) have ended up in a worse mess when he left than they were when he arrived then you see just how big a bullet we dodged when Boyle gave old Jimbo his jotters in December 2009.

Signed some decent players but the guy was an out and out head case.
