Stupid decision. Who do they think is going to come in and magically turn the team around! I bet there will be some good behind the scenes stories flying around shortly.
Chelsea are in the market for a new manager after Mr M was given his marching orders at 2.30pm today.
Incredible really when you think what they achieved last year. I bet a few other Premiership Managers are looking over their shoulders now he is available.

Probably the best course of action for both Jose Mourinho and Chelsea Football Club. Something was very wrong there and it wasn't getting any better. Maybe, in the fullness of time, we will learn the truth, because I think there is a lot more to this situation than meets the eye.
I see that one of thes suggested as a replacement and supported by the Daily Mail, is Brendan Rogers. If he couldn't do it at Liverpool, I would have thought the current Chelsea conundrum would be an even more difficult problem to solve but, as Jimmy Greaves said "It's a funny old game".
My guess for the vacant position would be Pep Guardiola as I can't see Abramovic settling for anything but the best. Maybe a caretaker until the summer when Guardiola will be available, but I don't see a better long-term candidate out there at present.
A new manager is needed at WV1 text me yer number Jose I'll pick you up!
My thought exactly mate watching this tripe!Originally Posted by Evewolf65

Guus Hiddink as Mourinho's replacement until the end of the season.
Pep looks like he's going to City in the summer. I don't think LVG will last past this season at ManU (unless they win it). If Arsenal win the league, I could see Wenger riding off into the sunset after this year.
Could be an interesting offseason for the top dogs of the Premier League.
And that's all that will be talked about. The rest of the Prem and the Football League will just keep on keepin on with no hope for winning the league ever agin.
