I think he can be useful in that role
Bring him on if we are behind to disrupt the defence
he will be let go at the end of the season when his contract is up along with quite a few others
it's time to change this team
Too many average minded players settling for a average position.

For me this has been the theme since the start of the season, not just the last several weeks.
I am fairly sure that cannot be levelled at all of the playing staff, but in sufficient numbers to affect our form.
This is where the new broom needs to be active in, as for me PL is a born winner, but will need the summer window to act on it. But also a huge slice of luck.
The encouraging thing is opportunities are coming about in open play, and if we (still) see JR as a clinical poacher this lean spell will end and he will return to scoring form. Just needs that first one to fall for him initially.
My only concern would be, that the chances he se

Not really. You see, time is not a static thing. As time goes on, things change. That's why we have different weather paterns. Why governments change. Why wages change. It's when when you set off on a train you arrive in a different place from the one you left etc etc etc

In all honesty, he did do that role last night. I thought Brown and Williamson were better than what they replaced in that game, (Evans in fairness is returning from injury). On that basis, it's time to avoid having any hope in the near future

Yes,that appears to be the consensus - that all 3 substitutes : Williamson,Brown & Lenihan were a distinct improvement on the players they replaced, and Ben Marshall the best Rovers player-with Bennett coming in,he may have felt his position was under threat. Lawrence,Conway,Evans & Steele especially described as woeful - Steeles clanger costing us the early goal, and calls for him to be replaced by Eastwood or Raya for the next match!
Brown bringing Rhodes into a spark of activity after coming on,which is partly his job. The feeling being that this squad of Gary Bowyers being shook out of their comfort zone by Lambert and most not happy about that.
Gary Bowyers squad nowhere near good enough to challenge for promotion, and changing the mindset of these players will take time.

Perhaps on reflection,Venkys have given Gary Bowyer a season too many in charge,if serious about promotion, nonetheless hard to see anyone better than Gary Bowyer would have wanted to come in whilst we were und

Gary bowyer should of been axed at the end of last season
Not getting at least a play off place when you have 2 players scoring 40+league goals and not being in the mix is baffling and annoying
however you are right nobody of note would come to us in an embargo
as for dropping Steele i wouldn't even consider it
he has been one of our few consistent performers every keeper makes a mistakes even the very best
the defence I would leave be.

Unless you are in an Alfa, then you usually just stay where you are.
