A very difficult situation for all concerned.Devastating for Rhodes ..PL publicly saying he had to sell him to strengthen the team.
Cant see another club out bidding them but i could certainly see another matching the bid and offering a better deal for Rhodes himself.

I won't be getting too worked up yet not until it's official
it's probably that crook Gibson trying to stir it up to get some more money off the deal
this will happen but more than likely tomorrow just to add to sky's over the top tension.

Its crazy money being offered for a striker with not a great deal about him.Gayle at Palace being touted at 7M who is a better all round player than Rhodes.Maybe Gibson has come to his senses after reading how all the Rovers fans on the messageboard dont rate Rhodes!

Makes Lambert look a bit foolish to have commented the way he did before the move was completed. Boro now hold the upper hand in this and could lowball us..

I should quickly delete anything I have ever said about him. I rate him massively as a goal scorer. Boro are crazy, he's worth £40m to them as he could fire them to the prem. However, as all he can do here is try and keep us out of the bottom 3, I think a fresh start is better for everyone
