    A game of two halves

A great start by Liverpool (assisted by some rash and naive defending by us, it has to be said) and I really thought we were utterly sunk when Allen netted their third, only for it to be ruled out for offside.

Must admit to being dejected at half-time, especially after seeing Klopp and ratboy (in particular) lauding it up and repeatedly punching the air to the away end (Klippety also seen doing that after the mane penalty miss).

The introduction of Mane and Big Vic at the break transformed us into a completely different animal - much more control in midfield, the defence holding stronger as a unit and Mane's electrifying pace up front.

And oh boy, it's been a long time since I've celebrated goals like that. It was carnage in the Itchen North when the third went in - bodies everywhere..

Carlsberg don't do stunning comebacks, but if they did..

Expected nowt from this game but delighted to witness a rare, battling Saints' fightback from a 2 goal half time deficit.
Don't recall ever seeing that before, Millwall away in L1 was a similar scenario but this was the greater achievement.

Half time substitutions with players with points to prove was decisive against a tiring, fading opposition.
Fantastic result against this team. Proof that on their day Saints can beat anyone.

    Leicester next, they're due a beating. !

Anyone else think Koemans celebration (running like a loon up the line and piling into the players) was a thinly veiled pisstake of Klopp?

A bit slow responding but was at the game on Sunday. Liverpool imperious in the first half but helped by some terrible defending. We were lucky to be only 2 down at half time. Second half completely different although I thought our chance had gone when Marne missed the penalty. For me Wanyama was MOM because he bossed the midfield.
It was also carnage in the Chapel when the winner went in. Travelling rugs and thermos flasks everywhere..

The second half put me in mind of another comeback against Liverpool in I think 2000 at The Dell when we drew from being 3 down and Parhars threw himself into the Bike Shed crowd.

Absolutely wonderful to see Saints coming from 2 down. Was following match on my phone, and the battery ran out with Saints 0-2 and Mane had just missed the penalty! Brendan Rodgers would have been proud of the character the boys showed in the second half. ***** for Saints that Pelle, and now Mane are back to form. Leicester have to be the favourites for our game with them, but I think underdog status will help us and we could just spoil the party and grab a morale boosting victory. I think we won't get Champions League, but a Europa League finish would be fantastic

This is the first PL game i have missed this season! I was in Melbourne for the F1 GP and didn't have Fox4 in my room. I decided on an early night as i was driving back to Sydney at 5:30 Monday morning. I got the BBC sport notifications for line-up , kick off and both Liverpool goals before I switched my phone off at HT (1:15 am). Imagine my suprise and delight when i looked at the result at 5:00 am and found the boys had comeback. What a shame I missed it ????
