For those speculating about what Shackell said to Wassall after the match, judge for yourselves. See the link.
It's about 20 seconds in and it sounds like he's saying exactly what we're all thinking. - view external link

I think he calls him a t*** at the end but I'm not sure what else he said. My old man reckons he was telling him to clap the fans but I think he was criticising the formation change when he mouths 'four'.
I noticed Carson on the end try clap the fans and was turned away by manager too!
Wassall should walk for the good of everyone. I do not even think he will be accepted back at the Academy now. He made a BIG mistake taking the first team job.
Yet Wassall in his interview "can't remember any confrontation" with shackell.Originally Posted by RamBamFan

Can't be a good sign if the players have no respect for their manager..

At the end of a game emotions are raw, we have a defender that was part of a defence that has just conceded 3 goals in the last ten minutes of a game in which his team had been coasting, what do you want, smiles?
I would be very disappointed with anything less.
The fact that Thorne is clearly seen having a go back at Shacks and in doing so could be seen as sticking up for the manager seems to been missed by most in order to make a point.
This is not to say Wassell didn't make a rookie mistake. A mistake that even a manager of an U12 parks team would not have made.
It didn't end there either I've been told this morning that it carried on in to the dressing room where a lot of shoving and pushing took place. My source is good and he was told by someone who was in the dressing room.
Not surprised if this is true. Disruptive behaviour this season seems to be becoming the norm again.
