If promotion is not a priority this season.....

Why bring in Arry and his dog? A bit over the top perhaps, or is promotion a priority after all? We would better off with Angry and little Angry if we want a c0ckney in charge.

Just an alternative thought on yesterday's events and the reasons for wanting to bring him in?

I'm paraphrasing from memory but the gist is
MM "promotion is not the main priority this season; it's more important that when we go up, we stay there ...not like last time. So we need to go up when we have a squad that is playing in the Derby Way and that can compete...so if not this year then we go again next year".

It is clear to me what MM meant. Maybe Rams fans are too black n white and don't appreciate subtleties...????

I want to know, how much is his dog being paid? Morris must be barking mad and should paws for thought before making this decision because there is no point getting a dog and barking yourself, which I think he will do. It is a Mastiff gamble he is taking if you ask me.

Surely our chances of going up are going to tail off and are Rover now? If we do make the play offs by a whisker, we would have to win two games on the Bounce! I don't think we do not have the pedigree to go up and if we did, we would not Winalot in the Premier League anyway.

Arry, make no bones about it, we don't need you at Derby chum!

I don't really give a Scooby. I think we would be better off with ou' Rex manager, that Scottish terrier we used to have.

Mind you anything has got to be better as we have been Shih Tzu far this season.

The way I understood it was promotion is still the aim, we're still in a good position so a little extra push with Harry might see us over the line, if after trying we fail to go up then it's not a disaster we go again next season, FFP isn't making it imperative this season

on RD last night, Sam said something along the lines of 'promotion is not the only aim' - there are others including improving the infrastructure, changing the approach, etc - not sure if that makes it any better, but it would have helped if they'd been a bit clearer when PC was sacked.....(though it may have taken them all this time to come up with a version that sounds better)

I hope we are still trying and I hope Arry can make the difference. I don't mind him being here on a temporary basis but long term would be a disaster.

I am feeling a bit calmer about the whole thing this morning.........provided it is a temporary appointment.

I hear a dog run is being installed at Moor farm this morning.
