    Congratulations Burton

Fantastic achievement to get to the Championship. Well done Ben Robinson a chairman who loves the club and town.

Assuming we're in this division next season what reception do you think Nige will get when they come to the iPro?

I think he would / will get a good reception from most fans. At least I hope so and he will from me!

Accepting his lack of top level experience, limitations and perceived failings, I think he always did what he thought right for the club and I also think he strove to achieve what he'd been challenged to do by the ownership of the time. He was exactly what the club needed at the time he was bought in and stabilised us on and off the pitch.

He wasn't good enough to take us to the next level in the timescales demanded but that doesn't make him a bad guy.

It would have been interesting to see how we'd have improved ??? if he had been given £20 Million to spend in the short time Clement was. Maybe he'd have replaced Ben Davis and John Eustace a bit earlier!!

Yes well done Brewers and enjoy the moment. Next season will be very tough for a club who's set up is league 1 at best if we're honest. They must be something like 5000-1 to survive, so no chance really....oh then again :-/

I don't no why but I've always thought of Burton as a pub team! So well done them!
I think we should manage to take all 6 points off them too, so glad they made it!

One thing NC was good at was getting us fired up for games vs rivals, think of our record vs Forest and Leeds under him.

Don't expect 6 points to be a given by any stretch of the imagination

In a dogfight with no money and an average squad at the bottom of the league there is no better manager than Clough in this country. I think expecting six points by any team is arrogant at the very least.

I think they will be In a relegation battle but it will be close.

In that case it makes me arrogant! Like I've said, I've always thought of Burton as a pub team so if we don't take the 6 points I'll be gutted!

Pleased for Nigel - he has a league promotion to his credit.
They will have to strengthen or they will struggle badly .
