    Barton - Dyche's best signing

Whatever one thinks of the guy, Joey Barton has been excellent for Burnley and is arguably Dyche's best and shrewdest signing.

Always said what a good player he is and what a good signing would be. Kind of bloke you want as a captain at this level.

He's been demonised by the press when other players who have behaved the same way at times have not been harangued by the media as much because of other agendas such as club and country they were regulars for.

Like in life to many people told what to think rather than doing it for themselves. One thing we have lacked on all Our signings is a leader.

Agree Rats, I said i'd have taken him in a flash when he became available. Best signing in the division not just Burnley.

Rats that's your opinion, I can think for myself (as most people can) I'm certainly not media led and I wouldn't want Joey Barton any where near my club.
Good player at this level but a complete idiot!
Follow him on twitter for a year or two and I'm sure you would find out more about the Joey Barton world, a self proclaimed genius in most subject's who hates to be challenged on any thing he says!
    Arrogant thug!

Tbf Ramfantastic, people can change. I don't follow Twitter so can't comment on that one but there's no denying he's been excellent as an on pitch leader for Burnley this season and exactly what we've been missing. Chris Martin and Jason Shackell have had their off the pitch moments - allegedly - in the past too.

We only like managers who speak nicely and have a certain appearance, forget about their ability and record. same with players, we wouldn't want anyone who was an individual and talented!

You absolutely right, we don't like characters or individuals and Dyche has clearly manage dhim well, not a peep out of him until the "no medal" debacle" and hearing him on Talk Sport the other night I thought what an intelligent if opinionated individual.
