    Club shop

The club has renewed its arrangement with Alan Provan in the club shop. Another 4 year deal. Looks like both sides are happy.

Yep at a tenner for a Motherwell mug there's nothing at all for fans to complain about if both commercial parties are happy.

A Tad harsh I think mate. I think prices in the club shop compaare pretty well with general sports/tat related merchandise elsewhere. A mug on the Royal Mile wie the picture of some skank fud in a kilt will set ye back £15

There is a difference. I'm a fan who would pay a fiver for a cheap mug where the logo might or might not survive ten scrubbins in the dishawasher. £15 for a Kiltie is a rip off to start with and not a comparison for an equal rip off in the Well shop.

Our shop operation was an embarrassment before Provan took over...it's a shame we probably lost out financially a little over the years but quite frankly there was absolutely zero to suggest we had the knowledge to take advantage of the cups finals, Europe etc which came our way anyway.

hard to say this is anything other than a good deal for all involved.

This post reminds me of the time I bought a mug with all the players signatures from the cup winning side from a street seller who was a well fan in Blackpool of all places. The mug still looks like it was bought yesterday. It cost me three quid. great buy.
