I mentioned on a thread about should we be going down that path after Stevie May hasn't seemed to work out so I'm happy we haven't signed him.

Who are we going to sign?

Like we really had a serious chance of signing him.

We would of needed near enough no other team in the championship to want him.

Maybe this is the way he works but apart from stokes there has been no talk of other names etc.

I prefer us to do our business behind closed doors and not mention it until it's finalised but palyer agents like to put the names about to get other clubs involved and that's why we will have trouble with signings.

The journeyman who are struggling will settle for a 1-2 year contract.

I don't understand why we wouldn't offer a 28 year old (in his prime) a 3 year contract.

It would cover his best years

I've lost interest in players signing or not, I'll just wait for start of season where hopefully we will have a team on the pitch that shows fight no matter what

It's clearly because we haven't got the money. Stewart talks of ambition but doesn't back it up. As you say, 28 years old would be the right age. Now of course, he may be a flop. That's true if any player but that's the risk you take. But I just can't see where we are expecting to sign this so called quality from.

I think we have missed out bigtime by not getting him here.

He will be a 20+ goals a season man for Blackburn.
