My great Uncle was killed on July 1 1916 at Gommecourt aged 19. Private J.T. Moseley,MM,1/6 S.Staffs. A whole generation of British youth, some say the finest generation this country ever produced, were felled like a field of corn for nothing more than a family squabble.
100 years on and the world has learnt nothing.

Not long back from a Service in Glasgow, emotional doesn't come close. Great Grandad was all my Dad talked about when I was younger, true men, genuine Heroes who fought and died for this country.

Emotional weekend for all the family, life has changed so much and as was posted above we have learn't nothing from it.
