    Byegone days

Fascinating story on the BBC South Scotland website this morning. Unfortunately never to be repeated.

Amazed that big John P. recalls this as an all - ticket game as mega collectors like ex - Queens museum curator
Ian Black in 40 years collecting Doonhamer memorabilia has never seen any - surely out of 26,000 one still exists
somewhere - anybody got one ?

just shows you the negative impact tv has ,and our obsession with health and safety ,iv got queens programs from the mid 1980s where it had our capacity registered at 20,000 ,the treggles street end ,portland and old stand are the same now as then ,only diff is the coo shed replaced by a bigger capacity seated stand ,if anything the capacity should be higher not reduced cause of over baring health and safety experts as thay call them selfs ,even with the current capacity of 8.750 you can still walk about freely within the terraces no where near full .

Very much doubt that match was an all-ticket game
