What on earth is going on with this extremely short notice that Hampden in unavailable for Saturday's
game - you couldn't make it up but that's Scottish football for you !

Having a Beyonce concert on the pitch last Thursday night wouldn't of helped matters ...... Hampden has also hosted concerts from Bruce Springs**** , Rihanna and Coldplay recently

As Palmylad said, the pitch was covered for the recent concerts. When the covers were removed they found the pitch wasnt playable

It's a real shame this game has been moved at such short notice as I'm sure plenty of the players would of loved to play at Hampden Park . Interesting to read that a few supporters have already cancelled going as they aren't interested going to Airdrie.
The pitch was never going to be ready in time if there was a big money making concert there last Thursday night . Perhaps the people running our game should of took that into concideration when organising the fixtures

I don`t see what`s unacceptable about this. The pitch has suffered because of the recent concerts. They hoped it would be OK so gave it some time, it hasn`t worked out so they have made a sensible and reasonably timely change.
As for those not going well that`s their choice but it`s not like the new venue is difficult to get to and in all honesty Hampden with a crowd of a few hundred is nothing special.

Could our first game of the season attract the lowest crowd of the forthcoming campaign ? - seems little interest in

yes ftivano i think its a sure banker to be the lowest crowd of the season on our fixture list ,moving it to airdrie will mean a chunk of the queens park support will be put off which theres not many as it is ,id say 200 queens park fans ,maybe around 400 of our fans ,so 600 fans is about my prediction ,might get upto 800 fans at game tops .

When I first heard that this game was getting moved I was not impressed and did think about not going but I can now say that I will being going to give the lads my backing in the first proper game of the season.
