Farend Rawson at the base of the diamond.

I would play Rawson in Thorne's position. He's big, skillful, and has the experience from last year's loan.

Anybody else think he'd do a good job there?

Not seen enough of him to know whether he could play the role but I've always thought over the years that a bit of experimentation would have saved us a lot of wasted money on poor transfer acquisitions. But we saw Hendrick play the role very well against Hull so why isn't he there?

I think whilst Thorne is out it can't hurt. As long as he can move the ball on and actually hold his position (something that Thorne has been caught out for a few times) then why not.
