    No home win for Motherwell

Despite an opening goal from Cadden a poor Motherwell side lost to St Johnstone 2-1. We never looked comfortable and the visitors showed more appetite to earn their win. - External Link

Dismal stuff from start to finish though we might just have scraped a draw if we had a goalkeeper capable of holding a shot now and again.

No complaints, we got what we deserved.

Totally agree keeper at fault IMO for both goals, but when you have a clueless manager who thinks that Joe Chalmers is a full back, what chance do the defence have.

A poor performance today as we were outfought. The main problem for us was the midfield who didn't shield the defence and failed to support the lone striker. We really need to get this area of the team sorted. I doubt if the inclusion of Hammell today would have made any difference. Keith Lasley now looks to be way off the pace and a passenger we can't afford.

Yep - Las appears to be a yard short at least. Still, if some others put the graft in like he does we'd maybe get a bit closer to the other team. Ainsworth a passenger yet again.
