Our OL' pal Mick is now in his fourth full season at the helm of Ipswich. He's finished top half each season (aside from his half season when he joined them in December in the 12-13 season) and made the playoffs once. I don't really see a reason why they would finish anywhere else this season. Early in the season though and they've won one and lost one in the young league season. Looking at their transfer dealings (and they're aint' much), looks like it'll be largely the same squad from last season. In the first match this year, Grant Ward - a new signing from Tottenham but was on loan with Rotherham last season - scored a hat trick in his league debut with the squad. David McGoldrick scored their other goal in the 4-2 win against Barnsley. This past weekend they fell 2-0 at Brentford.

Mick has yet to lose to us since taking the helm at Ipswich. 2-3-0 with the last three matchups resulting in draws. I imagine he'll have his squad up for the match, though it probably wont' feel the same as Edwards is really the only player left from his time here that played significant minutes under him.

From reports, we looked decent against Reading and should have had a few more goals. Doubt Ipswich will give us an easy time though. But I'll continue to ride the wave of hope and optimism that seems to be flowing around Molineux these days.
