If we do sign a striker it'll be one that's been on our radar but we've had to wait until the right time.
The team that he comes from will have been waiting until their target has become available.
To talk millions but to bag a gaggle of surplus midfielders on KP loans.
I am dreading the striker news when it comes...I will have a guess...a couple of million pound offers for players on sale for 3 million surprisingly fall through then we get a young lad on a years loan for a bag of chilli nuts and some scratchings.

Nice Selfie Geeter.
I note you were on the early shift at the bar.
Nice to get an early night.
After about a year shouting about your RGS quiz.....you never did publish my score!....strange that!
Ha ha...You never saw my reply......I do enjoy your foolishness.
Kempo, your rivalry with Geetar reminds me of Ali-Frasier but without any talent on either side. Met Pat Pokem when I was working over in Malawi and she confirms your stint on the gardens.
It's unclear to me monty why anyone would say he worked on the gardens for the council if he and apparently she didn't.
Actually I never came across any girls working on the gardens in my two summers but I was certainly there....and really enjoyed it..except for the blisters.
The elderly were very grateful and very kind and I learnt to treat them with respect.
I never doubted you on the gardens. Worked there myself 1968-70 Summer holidays and there was a team of girls at least one year but there may not have been when you worked there. As you say it would be a daft thing to make up and I doubt very much if anyone who hadn't done the job would have even heard of the scheme. I aslo accept you probably went to RGS and qualified as a doctor - this would help explain the declining standards in the NHS.![]()
