One of the deciding factors in signing was our new kit?

Good signing in all honesty, experience at this level and I know some have questioned the length of deal. All his permanent clubs have been southern based so it will be to see if he settles and if it works for both parties. He's lacking match fitness but could be on the bench tomorrow but he should get minutes in the U23 league and JPT that's coming up.

It looks like a good signing due to his experience. I assume it is short term as he has had injuries but you wonder if he is a success whether he would stay.
    Either way welcome to him

    I have a Pompey pal - so I asked him .....

"Good luck with Hollands. Hard working and nice bloke, but runs like he's the one who gave birth to triplets and not his wife!"

Considering the fact that it is reported he was released by Portsmouth because he refused a new deal would suggest they would have kept him.
    I think he'll be ok.

Saw him play for Charlton a couple of times. Don't remember anything different about his running gait, but he put in a good shift and could pass well to his team mates. He should be a much better asset for our midfield than Fox was. Given that SD's budget would have ruled out a lot of free agents, I think he is a decent signing. I wonder if we will see one further signing - experienced defender.

I work with a Charlton fan and he is very jealous that we have ended up with him! He is a solid player and my colleague is confident he will be a good player to have

And after watching him yesterday, I can see what he means.
Let's just say ........Ben would be unwise to have him in his defensive wall!!!
