Europe- The Final Countdown. Always reminds me of the Hagler v Sugar Ray Leonard fight in the late 80s.

Elvis Presley- I'll Remember You, reminds me of my Nan and Grandad.

Erasure- We'll Be Together Again, reminds me of Oakwood School Discos.

Phyllis Nelson- Move Closer, reminds me of the wife, our wedding song. Quite apt with the yearly weight gain I've suffered since getting wed lol.

There's obviously loads more, what about you dudes.

I can't listen to anything off The Drifters Golden Hits LP - Save the Last dance For Me, Under the Boardwalk etc - without being taken back to the Charade club in the late 60s and all those lost great days.

Music is powerful medicine indeed - certain songs transport me straight back to somewhere at sometime....knowing this - my ipod has play lists of what I want to gain from listening to those songs.....from rhapsody in blue - Glen Miller tracks to Santana - Genesis - Thin lizzy - Zep Lep - up to Sabbath.....seen them all live so feel fortunate.

New world symphony and selected classics on a good music system with separation / depth - so you can conduct the orchestra.

When I was first married I built a good system and lived in a place with NO neighbours..... wow - stood in middle of the room with a nice glass of single malt with Genesis at full - fantastic Base and Phill Collins drumming.....

Great stress relief.....
