He had moved to higher ground by then. Keswick is a poster I would happily buy a beer.
His work schedule was such that he could only join in for the first half of the Matchthread before heading off to work. If he joined in for an evening match he'd somehow turned them into online wine and cheese parties.

Well, it remains a mystery. Several people have experienced problems logging on to MM so it could be as simple as that. Quite a number have dropped off the radar over the years such as Lancastermiller, Staffsmiller, The Mightiest Troll, Gazzam8.
