What’s the difference between these two?

One is a bigoted obnoxious loudmouth narcissistic bully, who spouts gratuitous insults at those who don’t share his brand of divisive identity politics

The other is a candidate for presidency of the USA

Donald Trump could have been Rangers owner

THE controversial American looked into buying the Ibrox club in 2012 but backed off.

HE’S now the 45th President of the United States but four years ago Donald Trump could have been the Rangers owner.

The billionaire businessman gave serious consideration to buying the Ibrox club in 2012.

Rangers were soon to plunge into administration under Craig Whyte and then liquidation but the American with Scots heritage decided against the move as he foresaw the financial carnage.

Speaking at the time a source close to Trump said: "We looked seriously and walked away.

"It just did not make sense to us, although they are a great club.

"We hope someone steps in and builds the team again."
