    McGhee charged with misconduct

    From the SFA....

    Mark McGhee issued with notice of complaint
    Tuesday, 15 November 2016


    Alleged Party in Breach: Mark McGhee (Manager, Motherwell FC)

    Match: Dundee vs. Motherwell (SPFL Premiership) - Sunday 5th November 2016

    Disciplinary Rule allegedly breached:

    In that at the conclusion of the above match you did commit misconduct, and that :

    i) You adopted aggressive behaviour towards a match official; and/or

    ii) You adopted aggressive behaviour towards a steward; and/or

    iii) You used offensive, abusing, and/or insulting language towards a steward; and/or

    iv) You used offensive, abusing, and/or insulting language towards a match official.

    That accordingly you committed misconduct and breached Disciplinary Rule 203 of the Scottish FA’s Disciplinary Rules.

    Principal hearing date: Thursday 1st December 2016

    Mr McGhee has until Tuesday 22nd November to respond to the compliant.

    Wonder what will happen to the Referee and linesman who missed the blatant goal........

    I guess they didn't use "offensive, abusing, and/or insulting language".

    No they both used insulting judgements and abused their positions as football officials !

    Well, Beaton has been awarded the League Cup Final. No wonder the SFA is a a laughing stock. Absolutely ludicrous.

    In today's media conference McGhee said he was going to accept the complaint and he'll defend himself.

    Yep, he did.

    But I saw more passion in his defence of the national team's performance than I've seen at any time during his 2nd tenure at FP. He needs to get his priorities realigned IMO.

    80-90% of the club's press conference this week was taken up by questions on Scotland. That can't be right.
