Tony needs to make a statement

to let the fans know what's happening and what the plan is.

A factual statement rather than the usual stuff would be preferred and maybe he should prepare it so it flows a bit better than the 'Warns' one.

What have they done to my club is the question each of us is asking.

Surely Radio Sheffield can manage to line this up for Monday.

The club appear to be in crisis with people running around like headless chickens.

Poor old Warney is trying to joke but is clearly suffering which is not fair to a decent guy.

The players have thrown in the towel and have zero confidence and the fans wondering if they care.

The fans are fed up of being treated as if they have no right to any information and explanation to all the negative events.

Let's hear it Tony..warts and all!

    4 players from Scunny then?

I will not hold my breath for any of them - play the kids - they can't be any worse - the defending today was, as ever, a fine example of how not to do it

problem we have sawmiller is the kids who are borderline ready are all in the attacking mould... mattock and fisher or more correct left n right back positions have been a weak link all season. if i was warne i would seriously consider playing 3 at the back and 5 in midfield
belaid has played left back before and broadfoot has player right back.. cant be any worst

Time is past for statements/more empty words, confidence in this regime is ebbing rapidly, we need evidence of clear, strong leadership; positive action to halt the slide and a reconnection with the fans. Plus fair treatment for Paul Warne and recognition of the invaluable service he's rendered this club.

Get a manager in but guarantee that Warney goes back to being fitness coach.

TS needs to make a statement this week. It is unforgiveable that he tells the paying fans absolutely zero. This is a time to step up, not be a coward. He's had all the glory now let's see his spunk!!

Last night the Radio DeeDah post-match show presenter said that there is an open invitation to Tony Stewart to appear on the show - he just needs to ring them to arrange the details

I'm probably way past believing what he has to say but saying nothing is totally unacceptable. Either he's suffering like the rest of us - and his pride if not his wallet must be hurting - or he's totally ambivalent to our situation. We need to know which.

    Actions speak louder than words.

If we were serious about trying to avoid relegation we would have had a new manager in place by now and we would have had a clear plan around bringing in new players as soon as the transfer window opened, not being sat here with a week gone and nothing happening as far as incomings go.

We have no intention on improving the squad and are in the middle of a severe cost cutting exercise to limit the damage of next years significant drop in income.

If the rumours are true that the donkey that is Dexter Blackstock is on £10k per week we'll need to sell around 2,000 season tickets to pay him alone, a big dent in next seasons income streams meaning you get next to F all TV money in league 1.

All of the above doesn't fit in with incremental Tone and we're aiming for the promised land positive spin.

How can he go from that to look lads we're skint, were always skint and I was just bull****ting you because I think you are stupid enough to believe every word I say and by the way thanks for the season ticket money, please renew for next year as we're still aiming for the promised land it will just take a couple of seasons longer???
