It`s painfully obvious that we wont be swelling our numbers in this transfer window, so why are we not recalling Tom Thorpe?.
There may be a good reason for it,but we appear to be missing a trick.

If they are going to recall Tom they need to do it before the end of the transfer window. After that they won't be able to recall him. We are short on numbers so it would make sense to bring him back, that is if he wanted to come back in the first place.

Thorpe looked a weak link to me. Can we get Ball back? he's a better Centre back than either Thorpe or Wilson.

If we're willing to offer him a new deal and he's willing to accept then i would recall him now but otherwise i don't see the point if he's not gonna be with us next season.
I don't think he's had a fair chance here tbh and i don't think he was too bad whenever he did play.
Ive noticed he plays in midfield for Bolton anyways and we're not short of players in that position.

Midfield suited him best I think. Highly rated at MU. I like him but he was more for the future and with the right ongoing coaching. In our current circs it is hard to believe Warney could bring him on

Ryan Giggs thought a lot of Thorpe when at Man United, he did not want Thorpe to leave when he come to the Millers.
