Whatever happened to undercover journalism and in depth critical analysis.
There is a scoop right under there noses down at NYS and yet they won't ask the awkward questions in case they upset a sensitive chairman.
We need answers to the following:
Why did Steve Evans leave?
Why did Warnock not stay?
Why Did Kenny Jacket resign after 5 matches?
Why not follow up on the remarks made by Warnock, Halford, and Redfern about the clubs lack of investment?
Why did we offer Blackstock a 3 year deal?
Why are none of the retail units around the ground being sold?
Why have we missed out on transfers?
Why do we always let previous managers pick our head of recruiting and which players should be retained?
My advice to any newspaper or undercover journalist is to dig around, ask the awkward questions, risk upsetting the applecart. Ask yourself have you left the warmth of the office and the glow of the laptop in the last few months, to go out there and poke around and ask some difficult questions.
Trust me, I won't be reading either of the aforementioned papers again until they start asking the questions the fans want answering.

Are you stirring the pot again, ibs? You're right, there are many unanswered questions - and that's the way they'll stay. It's always been thus, lords and masters never answer to peasants - well, maybe those in the tumbrils but that's a little extreme...

Can't believe that our newspapers are so meek. I don't expect them to uncover every truth but they should making the Chairman squirm a bit and getting quotes from sources no longer at the club.

Not bothered why Evans, Warnock & Jackett left. Let's concentrate on remainder of this season.
Blackstock is the one for me. How could he get a 3 year deal. 30 yr old whose hardly played in the 2 previous seasons. For money we're paying him in wages & everything I've said taken into account the worst signing in my time [ 1965 - to now ] ever. If something can come out him alledgedly him being an agent & we can get shut will be time to celebrate.

Quoting - "Lack of investment" is only valid if the money is there and it's being withheld - but that's not the case.
We've invested as much as we can and what that money can buy ( players ) are trying - but to a man they are not the mult-million pound "championship" players many MM posters think we should have.

And we get a player on a free with a great CV - playing bit parts without decent supply.....doesn't anyone watch football in the Premiership. £20 million players not playing regularly and the papers say:
"He needs time to settle in"

Don't understand why long term fans don't see that we are simply living within our means - even the recent choice of Diagouraga to Ipswich....money perhaps!

Whilst there are exceptions the majority of journalists now are lazy beggars that just sit and glean fact and fiction from social media and regurgitate it into what's laughingly called an article.
Take a good look at that shower at radio Deedah as an example.

Pretty sure some calls are designed to promote anger and therefore additional calls / texts.

It's simple for me why Blackstock got a 3 year deal. Don't get me wrong it was a ridiculous decision and obviously now it's a massive problem.
We missed out on / refused to increase our bids on, or apparently refused to even bid at all for available players, the likes of Jason Cummings, Lee Gregory, Tom Bradshaw, Adam Le Fondre, Adam Armstrong, Christoffer Nyman and probably a few more I've forgotten about. Then the window closed and 99% of us were furious with the lack of a striker.
A previous manager who's name I wont speak incase I set somebody off, looks to the free transfer market and starts speaking to a player, and his agent says "These lads are well short of a striker, the fans are furious and so they are desperate. If we stick to our guns we can get a great contract here otherwise we will wait a few weeks/months and find a deal elsewhere"
Then the un-nameable manager who had already guided his team to the dizzy heights of 22nd in the table and a total of 3 goals scored, panicked and signed the striker in the hope it would appease the fans as they already knew that Blackstock was in talks. Had another striker slipped through the fingers then the fans would riot.
And here we sit with a player rumoured to be on £10-13k a week, hoping and praying that somebody will take him off our hands, or at the very least that we have a clause in his contract to reduce his wages if we are relegated. But with the reputation of the technical committee I wouldn't count on it.

Not sure who's to blame tbh, TS, AS, the committee or maybe all 3.
