    Give Hursty the job..

Even if it means waiting until day after last match of the season..
He did well at Boston, did well at Grimsby & is now turning things around at Shrewsbury..they were 2nd bottom when he was appointed and now upto mid-table & just beat Scunny at Scunny to stop their 26 home unbeaten run.
All about opinions but he's my standout choice.

I would go with him. Possibly he is the one lower league manager that will come for obvious reasons. No one else I fear will. He has earned his badge and has experience. What other manager of note will want the job. Answers below please

People aren't queuing up to answer that one are they Pete?
Vespabri, I think the Paul Hurst suggestion has been done to death in the original thread on the subject.

Yes so take notice in future! 😀
Didn't mean it to come across like that, it's just that a lot of people have already expressed their views on Hursty for manager.
Personally I'd be happy for the little fella to come back and the sooner we get a proper manager in place the better.

Hursty is doing ok at Shrewsbury, although I think describing 17th as "mid-table" is a bit optimistic - much better than bottom though.

Not doing as well as Mansfield's manager though, whoever that is.
A 4-0 win today moves them into a play-off position and makes it 6 wins and 2 draws in the last 8 games, scoring 13 goals and conceding 2.
18th in mid November, 7th now.
    He's obviously one to watch.

    Steve Cotterill

He's just had his interview on EFL goals.

Younger manager with something to prove - he talks the talk.....

Warnsey holding the fort will have no detractors for taking us down.......then new manager building in the closed season...that is if he isn't dabbling right now ?

If he is then I'm extremely disappointed in the nosey sods on MM for not getting to the bottom of this story.

And with all the propaganda against AS despite only managing for 25% of the games - inheriting a culled squad by NW and having a late start - again due to NW

Working within a tight budget and agent auctions - again due to our late start - thanks NW....and our chief scout dissappeared !......The manager who was thrown into the river Don with his hands and feet tied and told to swim will take ALL the blame.

Yes......Steve Cotterill - I saw it in his eyes!
