You really couldn't make it up.

"No club in the world would appoint him (PW) as their manager, except Rotherham United" Don Goodman quote from last night, about right.

This has to be the most irrational, illogical, ill-conceived managerial appointment in the history of the Football League, if not football world-wide. How can anybody with an ounce of common sense deem that Warne, with the most appalling record imaginable, is the best man for the job. It defies comprehension. We could have picked anybody off the street and given them the temporary job and they wouldn't have had a worse record than Warne. And then we'd have said thanks very much and made them permanent. For God's sake!

For the record, this is not a personal attack on Warne, he's been placed in this situation and, like any other Millers manager, he'll have my support. But what a load of bullsh*t TS has been spouting over the last three years. The man has lost all credibility in my eyes. Has he told us anything that stands up to scutiny? We were a laughing stock before this announcement, now we're a complete and utter joke.

I'm going for a long walk to calm down, to look at this rationally (if that's possible) before I lose it completely when TS seeks to justify his actions on Football Heaven...

Right, I've had my cooling off period and all I can add is that we now seem to have a full house, clueless incompetents at every level of the football club both on and off the field. I don't believe RUFC is anywhere near the top of TS's priority list and there's little evidence to suggest he has any respect for the supporters who are generally treated with disdain. Because of the great divide between club and fans, because I object to being taken for granted and treated as an idiot I won't be buying a season ticket. I will go to matches, God-willing, but I'll bide my time and choose my games.

There is a great deal of rebuilding and re-connecting to be undertaken and we need to see a deal of progress and commitment on several fronts which has been noticeably absent for far too long. I don't even feel we've reached 'rock bottom'. What this club needs is dynamic and sustained leadership and direction. As of now I don't see any anywhere.

Statistically the worse second tier team in history, not looked at the stats for managers but he must be one of the worst if not the worst in terms of wins, bizarre decision by Stewart.
